That sounds like a great line up, but we won't really have any cover for Davis/Cork/Schneid, and it might alienate other players like Chaplow and De Ridder who wouldn't really fit into that formation.

No doubt he has experience, but so far every move in his career (apart from this one) has been backwards. Villa to Fulham, Fulham to Rangers, just strikes me as a bit odd. I know he was a Rangers fan, but still, bit odd. And then there is the question of why Villa sold him. I hope this is him getting what looked to be a promising career back on track.
