well its a good job he's amassed over 100 premier league appearances already then
good solid signing for us keep them coming. Personally I think Steven Davis is the most important signing of the last couple of years. It wouldn't surprise me if he became Captain and his experience in the Prem League and at International level will be invaluable and something we lack among the current squad. He's still at a good age and this signing could only be surpassed if we get Adam Johnson. Very encouraging signs, though still slightly puzzled about Buttner, as left back is just about our strongest area with Fox (about the only player with Prem experience) and many assists last year. We apparently have just turned down £4m for Shaw, though I accept he's still young and Harding isn't a bad back up. We also have Dickson on our books still though I accept he'll probably go. Unless he's pushed forward and give Adam the chance to play a free role, or even switch to the right.
I am starting to get that tingling feeling again as the new season approaches its becoming ever more exciting!
Good signing...PL experience, in his prime and would seem to be a good character having skippered for Rangers and his country.
So with Davis and Buttner announced today (Buttner by everyone in the world except OS, pending medical)... who's still worrying about not enough signings?

Find it funny that some people are saying, the SPL is crap he wont make it in the prem! They obviously know nothing about him, over 100 apps in the premier league so i am chuffed with this signing! And FREE!!
27 years old is Davis, so in theory, in his prime.

Over 100 apps in the Prem, a multi-million move between Prem sides and a club's player of the season award. Think it's fair to say he knows the Premier League game!
What will the moaners say now? 2 signings (Buttner pretty nailed on) in one day. That's how to silence the critics.
