Anyway, this is a football forum. So why are you talking about intelligence and superiority. Keep on track. I think you have a slight inferiority complex.

A collection of sources and logic - several sources saying £65k, an indisputable source saying Pogrebnyak chose Reading over Fulham for money, and logic in that Fulham would have been able to offer £35k a week. I didn't read a source talking about the substantial £1m bonus payment, therefore it would have been guesswork to assume different.
And I'm mentioning it because you're trying to claim higher ground despite not actually having a claim to it?
 
Is it bad that I feel embarrassed that Saints fans are adding Buttner on Facebook and then print screening their conversations with the fella?

Yeah that is great but your collection of sources and logic didn´t serve you well at all. I had a collection of sources and logic but added a bit of common sense too. Maybe you should try it next time.

Didn't serve me well?! I've not been hounded down by the Reading mafia for misrepresentation! Christ, it's really not a big deal.

You knew no more than I did - just because your guess looks at the moment to be the luckier one (Peach isn't gospel) doesn't mean you have more sense than I do. Though, next time I make a throwaway comment on an internet forum, I'll make sure to do my due diligence, if it pleases you.

You´ve not been hounded down by the Reading Mafia? Seriously? I heard they were after you. I´m sorry but you´ve upset them big time.
When did I say it was a big deal? Maybe you guessed I said it?...Besides, it was you who was offering medals.
I know I didn´t know any more than you but I used common sense...You can use that instead of making sure you do your due diligence next time.

What do you mean by common sense..? I used common sense in the way of Fulham could have afforded to pay £35k and yet Pogrebnyak turned them down to join the team with the multi-millionaire Russian investor who isn't afraid to splash the cash and would probably pay £65k for a marquee signing, what about that screams "absolutely zero common sense"?

EDIT: Also to add to this, my rationale was altered slightly by different publications. While the likes of the Sun and the Star ran £35k, more respected but obviously not infallible publications like the Guardian and Indy said £65k. I think common sense dictates to most people that ignoring The Sun and The Star is normally the way to go. Face it - your reasoned guess, it appears at this moment in time (based on the word of one journalist) was slightly more accurate than my reasoned guess. Of course, if that very slight difference makes me completely devoid of common sense, yet you some sort of sage with mounds of wisdom, then so be it.
