Hey everyone, someone just texted me saying our new kit is made of unicorn hair and will give our players magical powers.

Seriously though, why would you even mention that here? Surely you don't need us to tell you how stupid that is?

Lee clark has said that Jack butland would only leave if a Outrageous bid come in for him and he will be starting the next season as BCFC player... What are your thoughts on that?

Davis was excellent in the premierleague so there is no question he would be a welcome addition to our midfield roster. In his final season at Villa he was named Young Player of the Year, The Fans Player of the Year and Player of the Year and he is both club and international captain. He's a good age and would bring experience, leadership and steel to the side as well as being a very busy player and good passer.

I for one would like to see McGregor join him - keepers of that quality and experience are hard to find and I don't neccessarily think that going for very young keepers (e.g.Butland) is always the right policy. Prefer a keeper who has experience but has still got a few years ahead of him (Craig Gordon would fall into that category as well). I also would like someone to really push/dismantle Davis so that we are not over reliant on him.

People who think that we will cruise this league without some experience and leadership are deluded. We have an excellent young squad which only needs to be suplemented by 3/4 really good signings - Davis, for me, would certainly be one of those.

I must confess that I don't remember much of the guy from his PL days. What I do see being north of the border is (unfortunately) quite a bit of the SPL, the quality of which has declined significantly over the last five years or so. I just don't rate the guy but maybe the mundane nature of the game up here is clouding my judgement! The only SPL players I can think of who would potentially do a job are Emilio Izaguirre, Scott Brown, Gary Hooper and Allan McGregor.

I agree with a need for some experience. Momentum will only take us so far.

That's funny, my Celtic fan mate really doesn't rate Scott Brown! Was talking to him today and he says all the Rangers (ahem, I mean Club 12) fans he knows rate the guy, too, he lives in Glasgow so knows quite a few!

If a player wants to leave, 99% of the time they will leave.

Whether or not Butland wants to leave, I've no idea. But I'd imagine that it's a bit presumtious of Clark to come out and say that.

I'm waiting for the Ryan Smith to return rumour to start up, I imagine Brendy will love that

Ssshh. We don't mention his name. His name sits locked away in the same place as a particular match at the Rose Bowl in 2010.

You mention either in the Brendy household, and I will show you the door.

Leon Best isn't however too far behind.
