You're right. However, lets see if he is right first. Cut him some slack so to speak.

Although it could be a guess. Nigel wants 1 or 2 signings before pre-season return (confirmed as 28th) and next Wednesday is the 27th.

Indeed...this one is oddly specific, though. Not that it necessarily makes it more likely to be true, but it's certainly of the variety where the author has no escape should it fail to come to pass.
