Well no one is as good, but what do they want with a 6'4" Dzeko-style player when they play the way they do? I personally think RVP will stay, but if I had to replace him I'd probably go for someone like Cisse.

said in one report they are signing Giroud so they can play RVP, podolski and Giroud up front. What tosh they obviously know nothing about him, RVP will not play RW and giroud couldnt play RW, if he signs i would be pretty confident that RVP is off

Also would be a massive shame not to see Walcott get the first team place he so obviously deserves.

I reckon Giroud is a replacement for Chamakh, giving Arsenal a target man should they choose to change system

I thought Giroud was quite pacey considering his height...

That's what I thought about Dzeko until he came over here. You don't realise how much quicker the Premier League is until you see something like that.

people have said that butland is a excellent keeper, I saw him play in the u20 world cup where quite frankly he was the only English player that did himself proud' 4 games and 4 clean sheets, now good comments from the England camp and Harte saying that Man City should buy him as his no.2 . My concern is that if he was this good(and he wants to go to a premiership club as first choice or promise of first team action) surely he would have played games for Birmingham in the 3 years that he has been a pro. Keepers are tricky because they get better with age, but if you had a star in the youth team, would you have played him at least once.

What you have to remember is, Birmingham sent him out as an 18 year old on a season-long loan, no chance of him playing there.

Realistically you're not going to play a 16 or 17 year old in either of their seasons. Both of those were in the PL and one was a relegation dogfight.

Hart is only 25 so is more than likely going to be City's keeper for the next 10 years at least. Can't see Butland signing up to that if he has aspirations to be first choice at a Premiership club some time soon.....

Forward for Copenhagen. That's where my knowledge starts and ends.

If it's the guy i'm thinking of he is a rather fast black man, scores a few aswell.
