Well Barnard will be sold or Loaned out with the option of a future fee.. So that would lead us with 4 strikers.. 2 Target men and 2 poachers.. Which is normal for the premiership.

Not to mention That Lee could play on the left wing.
 
Not sure if i would like Butland as a back up. i am a keeper myself so look carefully at the situation. Personally reckon Bart could have done a job if he got over his nerves, so i reckon he was released on his terms, not adkins. The less said about forecast the better. Butland could be awesome but youth keepers can be fairly shaky and inconsistent. if we are looking at keepers like this maybe jake kean from BBR? My wish list is Foster, Schmeichel (Kasper), Gomes?, Al Habsi maybe, courtois (not sure what happened there). Also who is up for resigning this legend?

Gomes! The amount of errors he makes is ludicrous. Courtois is spending another season at Atletico Madrid.

True but the same could have been said about SKD before we signed him... Gomes also makes some top saves! Also, if hughton goes to Narch, will he take one of foster or butland with him?
Would LOVE to get Shay Given but that is fairly unlikely

I rate Butland, but I'd rather we didn't make him 2nd choice. Bart was fantastic when he first signed, but after the injury he was always 2nd choice and never had enough time in the side to build up some momentum and get his confidence back. I'd be worried that he could be sitting around on the bench for a while. I'd prefer to loan him somewhere he would be first choice until he's ready to succeed Kelvin. A solid, experienced keeper who has been around and seen a lot would be more appropriate as backup.

Butland is a dream. If he is as good as he is meant to be. He will go somewhere like Spurs where he can be first choice after Brad. At the moment he is not good enough to be first choice or sit on the bench at any Prem league team.

IMO he will stay at Birmingham for a couple of years till someone is prepared to make him number 1

General consensus seems to be that Jay will be in Southampton tomorrow.

Burnley fans say he lands at 07:35 in Manchester. Terms already agreed via his agent whilst he was in Mexico.

If this is true, he just has to head to Southampton, finalise his contract, sign, and complete his medical.
