I can't see Barnard featuring so that only leaves Rickie, Sharp and Lee. Most sides have at least four out and out strikers so it was always going to be a position we would strengthen, Sharp and Lee would know this.

 

He will be nothing but a bunch warmer should anymore strikers come in he should quiet his larrap down.

He joined us when we were practically up anyway I wonder did he keep saying that in the press at Doncaster?

I don't hate him he proved me wrong towards the end of the season and I was glad for him!

But unless he gets in a serious fitness regime over the summer he will be ineffective against Premier League defenders.

He should be looking at himself rather than others.

 

Funny, I thought he joined in the period where we struggled and were overtaken by West Ham and teams below were catching us up.

 

He's a lot fitter than everyone thinks he is.

He's lost a bit of weight since signing.

Look at Tevez though, he's pretty big now, not skinny like he was...

 

Sharp scored some vital goals in the run-in, but he strikes me as the least likely (excepting Barnard who isn't going to get a look in) to be able to make the step up.
