Would rather we didn't go for Snodgrass, Whittingham would be far better if he was surrounded by the quality of players we have. He seems wasted in the Cardiff side

My two pennies on other rumours mentioned recently:

Curtis Davies: Hope to God this is untrue
Dirk Kuyt: Same as above, laughable player
Simon Cox: Average, wouldn't improve on what we have already
Matt Phillips: Would be a good addition, clearly got a bright future
Thomas Ince: No no no, can't stand him and think he's horribly overrated
Nathaniel Clyne: He's okay, don't think he's really improving on his promise from a few years back and doubt if he'd cut it in the Prem

Can see Saints pulling something right out of leftfield though, like Tadanari in January. Wouldn't be surprised if we saw another Japanese or Korean lad come in (Honda is wishful thinking!)

If we got Dirk Kuyt we would finish top 10 without doubt. Fantastic player and exactly what we'd need. Will not happen mind.

I would be absolutely giddy... wishful thinking it is, but it would be amazing!
 
Very unlikely, but I don't know why everyone thinks Kuyt is bad. His work rate and professionalism are second to none and no-one gets 85 caps for the Netherlands (not to mention 24 goals) without being half-decent.
 
Heskey as back up for Lambert would be a brilliant shout for a year or two, has been there and done it no matter what anyone says. Guzan would be a great shout as well. Both look set to be released.

Heskey can't cut it now in the prem. Guzan is a good shout and Cuellar has been released to i would happily take him

Heskey got told he isn't getting a new contract.

I'd love him to sign for us, purely for the name on the shirt. <laugh>

"Been there and done it"......might as well get Geoff Hurst. I was always of the opinion that Heskey was overrated even when he was at his peak (if he ever hd one).

Would love this to be true and hopfully follow it up. Zaha can be classed as a luxury player but I think he's great, presumably switch Lallana to the right, and move him to the Left. Would be great.
