So who are the possibilities for tomorrow?

    Ramirez
    Biglia
    Fontas
    Boilesen
    Biyik
    Unknown domestic defender

If you asked me to stick my neck out, I'd say Ramirez is a certainty, and Fontas is a strong possibility.

It may have been a bit far fetched but then we have just supposedly signed Ramirez so maybe not.... Milan are just about to sign Nigel De Jong for a measly £4 million!

I rate him so highly, compete midfield general and the only reason he isn't playing for City is because of Toure!

Only 27, think he may have been worth an enquiry!!

Total f***ing head case too. Heard he went on a drugs bender with Jim "deadline day" white too. Drugs, glow sticks, doing the limbo whilst blaring out One Step Beyond on Jim's ghetto blaster, all in Jim's dressing room. Madness.

Wages pal. They freed up a lot of wages with their departures.

Yes your probably right about his wages, Man City do make it almost financially impossible to sell a player as nobody will pay equally to them! I don't think he is one of the high earners there but still guessing 50K a week! Still would love to see him in the shirt......dreaming!

I'd tend to agree, and in a lot of ways would prefer Fontas, but DM is not a position we're overloaded in quality in (Hammond), so in some ways makes sense. I think Fontas or Boilisen would be more likely though, yes.

    You'd prefer Fontas to Biglia?

Could be right I guess. If we signed Fontas, Biglia and Ramirez alongside the other additions I would explode.

No, sorry, that was worded badly. I say badly, I mean wrongly. What I was meaning to say was that I'd prefer a CB to come in than a DM. It's late!

I would as well, but I'd not turn down Biglia :D According to Nixon we went to watch Fontas and came away unimpressed...

Biglia is not likely, for reasons previously discussed, you guys need to forget about him. And De Jong is on £100k+.

I'm all for thinking big but let's be realistic.

Personally think we should go for Kjær, wages are comparatively low in Germany, he should be available for a reasonable transfer fee, and he's quality. Just makes sense.
