he would be one hell of a risk at 8 millionish, 80,000 a week plus bonuses, not for me because I`m chicken **** scared that he would get another long term injury

AVB said that technically, he was second to none. Lost to Rickie at keepy-uppy though, the other week. Couldn't get anything going because he was rubbish. Rickie just kicked it up to head height and then kept it going with his noggin.

No. Against is age, fee, wages, fitness history, and I don`t think he is better than what we have. I think the critism Jos and Jose have been getting is unfair, and Dawson would be no improvement. I`d far sooner have someone who clearly loves being at Saints, than someone who just isn`t be getting a game at a club we intend to be challenging.

The question was "would he be good for us" so we can disregard fee and wages, they don't have any impact on how good he'd be for us. Fitness has improved (so I hear, can't really say yet!). Age isn't bad, he's younger than Hooiveld and the same age as Fonte. And don't better than what we've got? Don't be ridiculous. He's a far better defender than Jos and Jose.
