NFL is just a poor man's version of Rugby.

Big guys who wear pillows on their shoulders and eat fast food everyday...

The super cereal bowl is way over hyped and overrated.

For me,it's a poor sport.
 
Can I just point out to Saintmagic and Conor and Beefy and anyone else talking about NFL - don't respond to any of the "poor man's rugby" etc people because it's pointless trying to discuss NFL with people who don't understand it, I've found this out the hard way :p

I see the point you're making but imo NFL is just Rugby with different rules. I don't get it and never will. But I do understand where you're coming from as I follow MLB and people who don't follow it will say it's just a more lucrative version of rounders - which it isn't.

I can tell you're more sensible than most anti-NFL people so I'll go along with it - before I watched NFL I too thought it was just like Rugby but the only similarity really is the ball shape. You could say "You have to get the ball into a certain area" as another one but that's a similarity shared between many sports - including our very own football.
