I can't see us making 9 summer signings - you noted that we want two keepers, two centre halves, Buttner, Clyne (that would be a whole new back five), plus a right midfielder and then the signings already made of Rodriguez and Davis. I think a keeper and two more defenders are top priority, then a right mid must surely be bought in. That would be six, maybe seven if we sign Clyne, but honestly I think the Buttner deal is off. I'm sure it would have been completed by now if we were serious about him keeping in mind the third party incident. You don't want to upset the apple cart, team morale shouldn't be taken for granted.
 
I'm doubting the buttner deal now. Clyne would be a good signing and a good signal of intent. Priorities for me are the centre backs, a goal keeper and then we can look at the RM slot.
 
Ever heard of the old saying, "stop ****ing worrying so much about trivial things like a signing not being made within 24 hours of a newspaper reporting interest"? It's a goodun.
 
More of a suggestion, but I think we should look at james chester from Hull as a potential new centre back
 
Fourth Official (normally 100% on Everton) says they're going for Matt Phillips, I thought they were skint? Surely if they can afford him we can?
