Welcome to the saints Jay. With Everton and suposedly villa interested this certainly feels like a coup. Its alot of money but hes young and will improve, if he can score 50 goals during his 4 year contract he will be worth every penny. Southampton are no longer a club to be messed around with. Terffic work Nicola and nige as always!!

Saints have signed Rodriguez, but Dave Moyes has gone to Jays house to ask him to ask for a free transfer.

According to peach its 6mil. Loads of people on twitter having a laugh saying its over priced. Well he certainly aint cheap but hes 22(?) he was in the championship team of the year and he scores goals. David moyles was suposedly interested lets be honest here if he scores 15 goals for the next two years we'll have bids of 10+mil for him its a risk as any big money signing is but if it pays of it could be an absolutley genius peice of work.

Also according to peach hes in line with other saints players wages. A 'free' transfer on 50k+ doesnt work out much cheaper than 6mil for someone on about 20k.
