Cedric, £3.5m.

Will make an instant impact in attack; will lag behind a little defensively, as he'll occasionally find himself out of position, but the early reviews will be very positive. Some will wonder whether he is better than Clyne, who will have remained (a prediction within a prediction!), but in December that will fall by the wayside owing to injury: during a charity pie-eating contest, Cedric's competitiveness will get the better of him and he will suffer a stomach injury of some severity, which will keep him out for a couple months. He'll be slow to reintegrate upon return, but will end the season with a flourish, and the general consensus will be that he will find form in the following season and become one of the better right backs in the Premier League.

He will then demand a transfer to Marseille.

Jay will help him - he can speak fluent Spanish (and no, that's not based on me guessing as is surname is Rodriguez, otherwise I would have thought twatbeard could speak another language than twat)

Does Jay speak it with as much passion, grace, and poetic fluidity as he speaks our native tongue?

I was under the impression that he doesn't speak much, if any, Spanish.

The Independent said:
Rodriguez does not speak Spanish despite the name, inherited from his Spanish-born father Kiko. It did occur to him before he walked out at Wembley that the name on his shirt might cause the misunderstanding he often encounters on holiday abroad. “I was thinking, ‘I wonder if one of the Chileans is going to start speaking to me in Spanish?’ ” he says. “‘I won’t be able to say a word to him!’ ”

I'm sure Jay doesn't speak Spanish....I remember thinking what a waste to miss the chance to be bilingual, then realized he wasn't even monolingual. I think no chance to bring back David Salas should be missed....we need advice on sweater wearing. What a missed opportunity to team cream chinos with a fine sweater casually worn around the shoulders.
