Sunderland have been linked with a move for Argentina international Eduardo Salvio.

New boss David Moyes is thought to be prioritising a new striker, as well as a centre-half and right-back, as he looks to make a breakthrough in the transfer market.

However, reports in Portugal today have credited Sunderland with an interest in Benfica wideman Salvio, despite the 26-year-old just penning a new contract.

Benfica would want around £20million for Salvio though, which would immediately raise question marks, with Moyes thought to be operating on a limited budget.

We were linked with Salvio last year for big money, much bigger money than £20m, so maybe that's not such a bad price, I've not seen much of the lad to be honest.

Defender Adam Matthews has completed a move to Football League Championship side Bristol City.

The 24-year old joins The Robins on a season-long loan.

Yes ****ing please Bri!

I love this lad have followed him since he popped up at Atletico.

Didn't really work out for him there, he was incredibly young and he's a small lad, but he is direct and pacey and beats people for fun. He'd be a very exciting buy, no mistake.

Is he different to Navas because I think he is gash.

The price stopped me from starting a thread fella. Don't see us stumping up that kind of coin.

He keeps the ball tighter than Navas, and isn't as quick. He tends to put his crosses in low, which I think is good for Defoe, Khazri favours the higher ball. I seem to recall he ripped the Toon a new one 3-4 years back but I might be wrong on this.

He's a very, very good player, Navas is far more one dimensional, and less confident at running his man.

He was very confident running at his man. It was when he got to his man he simply stopped, turned and passed the ball back. To think I didn't make it as a footballer.....

The world is going crazy... Wolves... CHAMPIONSHIP team Wolves are close to doing a deal for £20m for Benfica ace Talisca to swipe the player from under the noses of AM collectors, Liverpool.

Whatonfuckingearthisgoingon?

Will Keane's value is £1m according to the press, 5 teams are interested.

At that price it'd be worth a stab. PL teams spend more than that on gambles to chuck in their youth squads.

Another surprising name possibly heading to the Liberty Stadium, Fernando Llorente.

Meanwhile Welsh wizzard Hal Robson Kanu could be off to Atletico Madrid.

**** it, I'm off to bed.
