Surely not he dosnt like Sunderland

Sunderland boss Sam Allardyce is looking to bring Danny Simpson to the Stadium of light, reports the Mirror.

The Leicester City full-back is entering his final year with the Premier League champions, and the Black Cats are hoping to take advantage of the fact he is still yet to be offered a new deal.

A former Newcastle United player, Simpson is being targeted by Sunderland, who have been given money to spend in an attempt to end their run of close survival fighting seasons in Allardyce’s first summer transfer window as manager.

‘Big Sam’ has been heavily linked with the vacant English national team job, but is currently focusing on preparing his squad ahead of their season opener at Manchester City on August 13th.

Simpson made 30 appearances for the Foxes in their incredible title winning season, but is now a £4million target to leave the King Power, instead of attempting to defend their crown under Claudio Ranieri.

Everything has gone quiet, you're currently worse off than you were end of the season, with M'Vila not being there.

Allardyce is apparently back to discuss transfers and not the England job, maybe he's back to tell Short he needs to up his game or he's gonna walk.

Everybody seems to be saying the same thing though, the value for money isn't there this summer due to the TV income inflating prices all over Europe.

Imagine scouting a player thinking "He's perfect, we'll get him for £10m no bother", then finding out the club want £18m cos you've had a good TV payment, what do you do?

Sissoko £35m - I mean what the ****, if you guys are gonna sell Giaccherini for £2m and Newcastle could get £20m+ for that sack of **** based on a few good games, your board are a pack of mugs.

Telling that this thread has been up months and I've had no inclination to look at it. I really hope the windows are scrapped at some point.
 
The worst of it is is that there are not even any rumours knocking around about us.

See that Boro are apparently putting bid in for Subotic.
 
Its just the fact that our pre season signings appear to be stalling/stalled until the managers position has been sorted. Whether Sam now stays or goes is of less importance to me now. Just want stability.......
 
Ngolo Kante to join Chelsea for £27m according to the press... can't really blame the lad he's got ambition, he's gonna have much chance of winning the league with Che.... oh, oh yeah.

Maybe he's gone to play Champions Leag.... oh, oh yeah.
 
We might have put a £50 m bid in for Stones and challenge Chelsea hehe. We have not signed ANY player yet, so looks bad. Bournemouth sign Ibe a very good player for £15 m. Even the Boro are signing well. What happened to the Dzeko talk ? As for Morrison he is a canny player.

Not a lover of Ibe either although my mate who supports Derby raves about him (maybe that's Ibe's level?)
What disappoints me more is that Sunderland can't compete with the likes of Bournemouth in the transfer market.
Yes, I'm not fully aware of what's going on in the background or what we are prepared to spend but unless we 'smash' our transfer record a couple of times this window it's time for Ellis to go in my opinion!

What a prat. Worth staying away from this one, Angel Di Maria's trick that, it's low, he's not professional, he's a ****er.

Looking at Hull you realise we could be worse off. Even still I'd be delighted if he sold the club.
 
Karanka using his relations with Mourinho it seems, with Januzaj supposedly off on loan, possibly one more according to the rumours at this end.
