Hmmm ....

According to FaceAche we have just signed Savvas Mourgos from Arsenal - an 19 year old midfielder. Not sure what to make of that one. Now on the Club Officiall Site too.
 
Arsenal describe him as technically gifted and attack minded, whilst a blog about their youth praises his excellent dribbling and close control, calling him diligent and calm in possession.

2 year deal, undisclosed fee.
 
Curious how the remainder of the window will play out for us. There were plenty of rumours a few weeks back, but since then we haven't signed a proper first team player, and the rumours appear to have dried up.

Mourgos came out of the blue, are we expecting the same in terms of senior signings? Or are we done now?

I've a hunch SW/DF are going to surprise us, but only if they can get the player they want at a sensible price.

Could be one or two become available as other transfers are made. How many more loanees can we tale on? I'd be surprised if we don't bring at least one more, possibly one of the CBs that we were linked to before.

Snodgrass close to joining Villa on season long loan. Re-connect with Bruce. Bullet dodged as far as I as concerned. Godfrey signed a new, four year contract, a few weeks ago. How is this indicative of DFs' dislike? He is likely to get much more senior playing time now, as opposed to occasional U23 games and the odd senior sub appearance. It worked with the twins, and with JM (NOT "FAN" ).

I agree GE. DF has said how much he rates Ben. He should get regular game time there. we
 
Aren't Morris and Adams already at Shrewsbury? We're making Neyul's job too easy for him!
