That’s the essentials. As mentioned players have gone back from loan but some returning are ready now I’d imagine.

I believe Grigg will come good so we need a striker with opposite characteristics.

The player I really wanted to see is Marcus Maddison, I think he’s the perfect fit and he’s from Durham. Him, Marquis and a CB and I’d be utterly confident.

Maddison would be a great signing. I think we're pretty well stocked for the two behind him though.
I'm not optomistic about Grigg. I think he's had it. I can't put my finger on it but I just don't think he's going to work out. Hopefully I'll be wrong but I just don't have a good feeling about him.

Time will tell mate, we will see after 5 games or so I’m sure.

I think Watmore will find it hard for the first 15 matches, and if he is not up to speed will be used as a sub and may even be sold in the next window if he can't cut it.Wyke is ****e and needs to be getting rid, unless he can perform miracles this season which i doubt would prefer Eves ahead of him any day.Love can F.O we were sold a pig in a poke with that one, best just to end the contract, praying Oviedo gets sold. but onwards and upwards.

Watmore seems too honest for his own good, a refreshing attitude no doubt, but JR could have been a bit more prudent last season, at times he had the perfect opportunity to use his subs but chose not too. I hope he improves in this area as imo he made a few odd decisions last season, and said so at the time.

I hope not getting a new investor on board ( not getting promoted impact) does not affect player recruitment too much.

I reckon we only had 13/14 1st teamers last season and when fixture congestion and injuries hit.. we fell away

Need at least 18 players, 11 starters and several good subs on bench.. allowing for injuries etc.

Imho we have a good nucleus but need back ups and to lose a few surplus to requirements.

Good, now I don't have to fight the urge to say "what's Love got to do with it?" every time I see his name.

Does make you wonder about the squad though, all those CMs and only one RB that I know of. Love wasn't the solution but someone's going to have to be and it shouldn't be O'Nien.

The new RB, surely? O9 to be used as cover but otherwise in his natural position

I phrased it weird I meant Love wasn't the solution for second choice RB, not first. I'm happy with O'Nien as third choice to fill in if necessary but it'd be a shame to do that if he's playing great through the middle.

I dunno if one of the young uns is capable there but if not I think we need another new RB.
