I'd prefer to debate the masterstroke in taking Ki off half time and bringing Gylfi on v Arsenal. That was a master stroke.
Everyone and their dog would bring Siggy on for Ki in the game , was probably spoken about between the coaches previous
It's not pessimism though, it's based on the evidence that we've seen so far from Guids.

Now that is optimism
Guido's been here for 7 games , 2 of them in a hospital bed and you guys got him all figured out
Being at 33 points with 9 games left , Guido and Curtis will be expiermenting like hell to prepare the team for summer and August start .

Exchanging Fer with Fulton was hardly a master stroke in subbing against Arsenal valley , I'm sure if Arsenal came back most would be having a go about lack of and wrong subbing .
We played not great against Arsenal , but ....."The Unluckiest Team " in the league didn't hit the Arsenal woodwork , but law of average caught up and Arsenal hit our 3 times .
In the Norwich game , you might find one or two fans that wouldn't have brought Fer on as a sub .
And Curtis would be the first to tell you we played poor before and after the subs ...... We got lucky .
It's going to take time for Guido and his sidekick Curtis to totally get our house in order , but they will .
We're just using our lucky card at the moment because our unlucky card is overdrawn .
If your looking for unsung heros these last 6 points you don't have to look further that Routledge , his great goal against Arsenal stunned Arsenal into short circuiting most of the rest of the game .
And his good play prior to Siggy's goal against Norwich played a huge part .

I was there Saturday & our prospects markedly improved with Fer's introduction, he gave us drive with purpose!!

Wayne, lets be honest, if Norwich had scored from that ridiculous 'clearance' across our own box, would've been anything but a hero..

If Franco can get some serious points from the last 9 games, now that Curtis has virtually got us safe, with good vibes back in the camp, then I think Franco will be here next season, but if he fails to get us much in the way of points, and we just scrape over the line, then I think he will be gone. What do I think will happen?

I think Franco will come out of his negative football shell, and start being more offensive, after all he used to show videos of Swansea city to his last team, as the way to play the beautiful game, so he was obviously endorsing positive football, and now that we have some confidence, and winnable games coming up, to play negatively would be criminal and show fear, something that Franco has said he doesn't want his players to show, so I'm expecting positive game plan from him as we hit the home run............<ok>

So how have we managed in years gone by then, Rodgers picked the team and Pascoe changed it at half time, hogwash. The only time changes have been made for the better was when he wasn't at the ground, I doubt very much we would have changed it as we did against Norwich if he had been in charge match day.
You missed my point (as lighthearted as my teamwork remark was). Guido has a more defensive approach as we all know. This kept things tight in the first half which allowed Curtis to make good tactical changes and make us more of a threat in the second half. Bottom line is Norwich had more chances and were more of a threat in the second half after changes by both teams (they hardly got into our box in the first half). Logic dictates that had we set up like that from the off they would have created more.
