When he was with the U-18's I actually thought he was rather good, but with hindsight that may have been because he had Joe Gomez beside him.

Terry Thomas would have been a better signing.

Heard a rumour that you have been under a transfer embargo all Summer which is why it's been one in one out and no fees paid.

The PR man was sacked because he told someone else, and was reminded that he had signed a non-disclosure contract which means he cannot spill the beans - I can't remember his name though?

I take it you didn't pass your maths CSE...

Seven of the above are players. And free agent Terell Thomas has just signed.

Just to clarify, seven is one plus one plus one plus one plus one plus one plus one.
How many other lower league Clubs didn't pay any transfer fees this summer? Dozens I should think.
(Dozens is a lot of ones by the way).
Are all those Clubs under a secret transfer embargo? Of course they are.

I love a good rumour, but this one isn't up to your previous standard, with regard to Southall.

Oh yes, the spanner called it very well.

Nice to see the arthritis in his fingers has cleared up as well.

Nothing like a few bad games for us to do wonders for it.

    Bad games?
Think you are doing quite well considering you only bought in League 2 players in the Summer - I have you down as a top half finish this season!

To be honest, when we were battling it out for Bonne, I was starting to lose hope. I really doubt there is anyone on the free agent list that we would be interested in. CBT was a great find last season, but that was a bit of a one off (and how many fans were moaning when we brought him in !). I was desperately hoping for another striking option, but just buying a crock for the sake of it seems pointless!
In Garner we trust it would seem!!
