We're not that far, we come ever year.
Calella is getting a bad reputation now with the immigrant thieves and pickpockets.
What a shame about Calella, it's a lovely spot. Slightly further south but my favourite place in the world is Tossa de Mar.

Just up the coast from where we live, we cycle up to their on summer days off, have an ice cream then cycle back.

Next month we're off to Thailand to get stem cell injections in my knee, last resort as they've refused a knee replacement.

Don’t want to put you off but there’s been a bomb scare at one of the Thailand airports today and our news reports are telling us to avoid going.

Going to Iceland in July. Really looking forward to it.

We're doing the ring road, with plenty of hikes to see glaciers, waterfalls and all sorts. We're booked on a whale watching tour as I desperately want to see a whale in real life. Plenty of soaking in various hot springs too.

fancied a break and found a apartment down in Woolacombe, 7hr drive but well worth it, what a cracking place, really buzzing. I will bring the whole family down next summer. Need to find a house that sleeps 10 though <laugh><laugh>
I've been there loads when I was younger. The beach at Woolacombe is a surfers paradise. Mortehoe is decent too <cheers>

Aye, went there today, some cracking pubs in Woolacombe and great grub.
There was a place in Mortehoe that did a massive Surf n Turf (Steak & grilled prawns) but that was a long time ago <laugh>

I have been to Mumbles, nice place too and some decent boozers.

<laugh> These women go temporarily insane when packing for a holiday.

Mate, it's ridiculous. All new gear, the works. I would have just went with what we had as it is! Won't be having many more of these big family holidays in peak season like. With spends, clothes and price it's well in excess of 6k. Just seems insanity.

Not all! I'm usually well under my luggage allowance.
My lady is usually under the allowance, but her case and half of mine is filled with clothing allowing for 3 changes a day! I've got 3 T shirts,a couple of pairs of shorts and a jumper in case it turns nippy in the evening......she's got every item of clothing she possesses to cover all weather options from Svalbard to Rio!
And I haven't mentioned the shoes!<laugh>
