We are flying with a Turkish airline called 'Corrindin' or something like that I think. About 2pm ish. We went for a little walk a few times out the back of the Titanic and there were a few shops and an indoor shopping mall but not loads of restaurants as you say.
Best get yourself an early night mate big day tomorrow <cheers> Happy Holidays !

Anybody staying closer to home in Scarborough, were staying in a cottage at Scalby village and had Sunday Lunch at the Foulsyke Bistro, Scalby which was the best Sunday Lunch I've ever had £15 one course, it was tremendous. You don't need a second course.
It's only a small place so booking is recommended.
Been to the Magpie in Whitby today for the traditional fish and chips, brilliant.
Just a couple of ideas for those staying fairly local.
I had a meal in the Foulsyke a month ago whilst visiting my deceased Brothers wife who lives in Scalby. It was an evening meal and delicious. Hope you had a few pints in the Nags as well.

Got a few questions for the regular flight travellers on here. Going Cyprus for 5 nights next week with mates. Haven't flown for over 15 years. Obviously things have changed a bit since then.
Just got cabin luggage up to 10kg, no check in baggage. Can I take any toiletries with me as long as they're under 100ml and store them all in a sealed plastic bag? Are there any toiletries you can't take?
Also not having a little bag to put under the seat so are you ok to have phone, keys, lighter, wallet etc in your pockets like normal? Or do they have to be packed away?
Cheers.

You should be OK, I had wallet, keys, phone all on my person. I don't smoke so haven't got a lighter but the lass at the check in desk when we checked in our cases held a card up and it said vapes and lighters needed to be stored on person not in any bags.

My neighbour has just done two weeks in the motorhome around Scotland. I know they went to Inverness and Kirkcaldy, not sure where else. Beautiful country, but I've been there when they're gearing up for independence and I wasnt made to feel welcome then. Shame
