Decent squad member, who'll hopefully chip in with 10 goals a season (in all comps).
Takes a good penalty though! Has looked pretty good in sunderlands recent revival. Still think he has something to offer. Makes good runs, decent touch, decent finisher. No Suarez but a reasonable back up. Should have kept him here and not bothered signing Aspas.

The circus and fanfare surrounding Swansea striker Michu has tailed off somewhat this campaign, but with Michael Laudrup departing Swansea, could he be a target for Liverpool?
The Spaniard was the talk of the top flight 12 months ago, as the relatively unknown quantity from Rayo Vallecano bagged 18 goals in 35 league appearances during his debut season in England.
This year has been comparatively underwhelming for him though, with Michu having only scored two league goals, while a troublesome ankle injury has limited him to just 12 appearances.
But with the man who signed Michu now gone, should the Premier League's biggest sides turn their attentions back to the Spaniard again?
Liverpool have been linked with him in the past, with the Reds' boss Brendan Rodgers reportedly seeing the 27-year-old as capable of thriving in his free-flowing attack line.
Michu's quality was obvious as Swansea initially thrived under Laudrup and, while his form has suffered during this campaign, in a much better team he could rediscover the form that made his name in England.
The perfect example of that can be seen in the amount of opportunities Swansea create. Last season the Swans recorded a total of 376 shots and chances, of which 88 of those came to Michu, who in turn scored 18.
By comparison Liverpool have totalled 314 shots and chances in the Premier League to date this season, scoring 58 goals (or 18.5 per cent of their chances created). In a team that creates more opportunities, Michu would have a better chance to improve his goals-per-game ratio.
But where would Michu fit in at Anfield?
Liverpool boast a number of attackers, each providing something different for Brendan Rodgers, but none in the Michu mould.
Given the way that Luis Suarez, Daniel Sturridge and Philippe Coutinho are playing this season, it's fair to say Michu wouldn't displace any of them right now, but he would certainly improve the Reds' options.
Over the course of the season, injuries and suspensions are inevitable and squad strength has a large say in which clubs challenge for the title and top four places.
As Liverpool battled in vain to gain three points at West Brom recently, would the Reds rather have looked to their bench and see Iago Aspas, or Michu?
Even the fact that Michu has not been nearly as impressive this year compared to last can be seen as a good thing, potentially lowering his transfer value for any bidders.
Liverpool can't afford to burn money like Man City and Chelsea, so acquiring a proven Premier League talent at knockdown price could be too good an opportunity to ignore.

Michu is a very good player but do we need him? If Borini comes back that gives us SAS plus him as back up. Michu is better but would cost a lot.
I'm not sure Borini can play central. I see him as a wide forward. Michu can play central and I think will will need another forward option in the summer or january.
Strength in depth, competition for places, positive rotation, impact subs.

Michu is 28, had a long term injury and will cost quite a bit given his good form last year and Swansea not wanting to lose him. Unless they go down, don't think should be looking at him. He would give us something different with his height and power in the air but can't see it happening.
Ben Davies at LB could be a viable option though, decent on the ball and young. Similar to shaw but maybe not quite as good. Probably a lot cheaper though.

Despite him having a very good first season, I said last summer that I didn't want Michu because I thought he would be a one-hit-wonder, especially after such a drop in form after they won the League Cup. I feel my thoughts as proved to be true, why the hell would we want him now?

he's ok, but i don't think he's quite that good (ignoring konchesky comment). I'd be skeptical about the step up. would he be a bench warmer or take enrique's slot. I am not sure it'd be an improvement. I've seen him play for the swans and he's decent, no question but is he good enough? I dunno

Nope, 1 game doesn't change the fact that were light in middle, and apart from Flanagan don't have a decent RB.

Johnson can go - high wages and playing ****. although trying to get someone to buy him could be a problem.
Kelly showed glimpses but is way too injury prone and hasn't progressed in the same way as Flanno has.
I'm not bashing Flanno here, but I can't see him being a consistent top 4 RB for the next 10 years. I'll happily be proved wrong, but I'd like someone to come in who can also play straight away. Then let them fight it out for the first team place.
