That's Philogene mate.

I'm curious that Oscar was 'expected' and we aren't replacing him. Very light up top.

We don't know for sure if the Club has switched it's attention to any other players, i would assume they have if they do let Oscar and Slater go but maybe they won't and they will stay.

Toastie mentioned we were in for another home grown forward who could play wide as well. Not a hold up player and sounded more like Connolly.

We must have other irons in the fire if Oscaris to leave.

I'm responding to Baz saying that we're not going to get anyone else in up top even with Oscar going.

I would hope so and Baz is speaking as if Oscar isn't going, rather than assuming he's gone already.

Slater is currently 5th in terms of distance covered for midfielders in the league.

I don't think anyone has ever criticised his work rate. More so that he tends to go anonymous for large spells in games so a lot of that running is just 'looking busy' which is a shame because he's actually quite good on the ball in more advanced areas of the pitch. Also him and Seri are a weak partnership in front of the back four.

Imagine Oscar has a dud loan and comes back next summer and we've lost him for a year with no income from it, would be weird from us sanctioning that without an option coming in.

Was Stephen Quinn underrated? He was a miles better player than Slater

Personally I thought Quinn was over rated, many thought he was literally Iniesta. He was decent and an absolute bargain, got way more than our moneys worth out of him, but still a very limited player who was never really up to playing in the premier league if we’re being honest. Quinn though knew well his limitations and played fully to his strengths.

He was one of the key reasons we were in that FA Cup Final.

Sorry Chazz - I’ll have to go through my Twitter feed. It was one of those Opta/Championship sites. I’ll spend 5 minutes and see if I can find it. Otherwise just trust me <cheers>

Scrolled back for 5 minutes - couldn’t find it. Although I did watch a seagull sat on another seagull mid flight which was nice.

I read it on the toilet this morning if that helps.
