"You'll see," Rosenior said with a grin across the width of his face. "I'm excited for what we've done. I can see it because of the talks I've been having and the calls I've been getting. The plans are starting to fall into place and people will start to say 'ok, now it makes sense' which I've been saying all along anyway."

Players change their minds , clubs change their minds it's not as if meetings maybe never went well for him to be upbeat about it and it is not as if we have had a **** transfer window.

Transfer deadline day is a bit like being caught up in a housing chain, when trying to buy or sell a house in the 1980s
A has to happen, for B to happen, for C to happen, for D to happen, and so on.

Tell me what I have said negative about the club? Don’t consistently slate the style of play every verse end like some on here. In fact the only critical post about the team has been one after the Bristol game when I said that after we had taken the next keeper to touch the ball 20 passes later was Ingram was not entertaining. Never criticised the owners, unlike some. Or claimed the aTurkey trip was a fix. Probably because one of the first chosen was a fan who was going home and away when 90% on here weren’t. And, as some others on here who know him, is most definitely not a supporters club type.
I have criticised the over the top stewarding but that has always been the case and the club are not wholly in charge of that.

So, tell me, why we would be a more attractive proposition than Ipswich? The town is dire but players always live outside of the towns or cities of the club they play for.
Answer came none. The beauty of the English language is that some can read between the lines, and some though see things that aren't even there. :emoticon-0125-mmm:

Got a lot of driving to do today so won’t see the news as it comes - any chance of a list of current rumours/links similar to the top post on page 1?

Lots of loans with "option to buy" this season (don't just mean at City). Money is obviously tight and this reduces the risk and builds in a plan if the player does well on loan but I wonder how many of these options are actually taken up. Would imagine a lot of them are just there on paper and there's no intention of ever following them up. There's probably a stat on it somewhere. Must be a risk for players too, not being able to settle or put down any roots - if the deal isn't made permanent they're back at a club where they'll probably be surplus to requirements and heading out on loan again. You can end up bouncing around clubs: just read that Isaac Hayden is potentially going to Wednesday on loan after being at Norwich on loan and still having 2 years left on his deal at Newcastle so could potentially end up on loan again next year.

It also just helps get around FFP.

Does it not just kick the can to a certain extent?

It lets you manage which period the cost falls in, and if there's a set fee there's no downside to the selling club as they receive the same fee 12 months on. You're right it just kicks the cost down the road but for a lot of clubs, 12 months may be all they need to cycle a high cost year.

Sorry to see him go (if he does go).
With anything like decent service he could have been a cracking player for us. And he genuinely seemed to like being here.
Ye he does seem a good bloke
One of the last games of the season I was sat near him at the game and the queue of kids to get an autograph well a pic with him was huge
Took it all in good stead
Not seen that for a player for years n years
