Nah, just think it's a bit of brinkmanship on finer details. Could already be resolved just waiting for a green light.
Whoever it is, this time of the year certainly isn’t Stressless.
So bringing in half a team of assorted players after the season is under way is not a problem now? I thought I'd heard it was important to get them all together for pre season, to get them all to gel and up to speed on rossies way of playing.
Always thought a £5m fee with a £2m buy back seemed like it needed work…
Was it a problem per se or just more desirable?
Can't buy players until they're allowed to leave so we won't be the only club scrambling this week.
True...I recall, about five years ago, BBC 5Live doing a tv broadcast from say 7pm on deadline day to 11pm. All the big guns were in position, anticipating last minute megadeals. It turned out to be the biggest anti-climax of all time.. They spent four hours twiddling their thumbs, repeating the same crap and waxing lyrical about some blokes nobody had ever heard of going to the likes of Bolton Wanderers and Cheltenham. Waste of licence payers money.
'Get our business done early', 'I want robust players', just soundbites tbh, every manager in any league also wants these things, but unless ya got billionaire backing, in champions league and have managers with big reputations you join the queue for the crumbs
It's not even like Rosey is the first one to say it either. Remember the same from pretty much all our managers but we still end up watching the clock tick down to deadline day - simple fact is that this week is when most players (who are sought after anyway) finally make decisions on a move.

Hmm, no reply from my mate about Philogene.
I hate this, if it’s really about the buy back clause that’s holding it up then I’ll be ****ing annoyed. We’re negotiating about money for a player we haven’t even signed yet; get him signed, he can help us get promoted and then the fee can be a bit bigger than what we paid for him. If we’re trying to get promoted, then something like a future transfer fee shouldn’t be anything to worry about given how much money we’ll make.
