AbsolutelySeri is good, no question, but needs the 'right' players around him which we haven't got. But to say he's "levels above Huddlestone" is just plain ridiculous.
It’s dubious sydWhat are you concerned with?
It’s dubious syd
We buy someone
He’s ours ye there might be a sell on clause fair enough
But these sort of deals who knows what’s in the details
Nah not for me
Would depend on how much the would pay for him to take back. Anyway it’s the way we get him I guess..We're basically getting him on loan where they buy him back for more than we paid if he's good. If he's **** we're stuck with him.
Sounds like Davis having a Medical at Swansea.
Seri's the best technician (along with Geo) I've seen in a City shirt, and he's levels above a Huddlestone. Some of the chances he creates are sublime, but he gets too complacent and gives the ball away far more than he should.
Defensively you can walk through him but that's why he's playing for us and not in the PL.
Realistically we aren't going to sign a big, battling DM because we can't afford one that's not technically limited and that would create as many problems as it solves. So I can see why we wanted Max Bird as he offers a bit of both.
We're still a squad in transition so it'll take time but we're moving in the right direction
Not sure I like this but back clause. What if he has a stormer if a season and other clubs want him. Surely his employment rights give him the right to work where he wants?
Ah sorry, thought you meant it meant the transfer might not happen. Yeah I know they're selling Archer to Sheff utd with a buy back if Sheff utd go down, dunno what ours would be but sounds like it's basically a glorified loan.
Cleared up nicely thanks. He doesn't have to agree to go back, we just have to accept the offer if they bid the agreed price
It’s what Saints did with Lavia. Sold him on for a significant profit, before the Man City buy back became an option. I hope we have a couple of years before the buy back option is effective. We're basically getting him on loan where they buy him back for more than we paid if he's good. If he's **** we're stuck with him.
Making over double your money on a "glorified loan" isn't bad
Hmmm not sure he’s levels above Thudd, in fact I’m not sure he’s better than Thudd.Seri's the best technician (along with Geo) I've seen in a City shirt, and he's levels above a Huddlestone. Some of the chances he creates are sublime, but he gets too complacent and gives the ball away far more than he should.

And the agreed price is? Is that after one year? Two years? He doesn't have to agree to go back, we just have to accept the offer if they bid the agreed price

So he had a brilliant season and tears it up and Villa have to bid ten million to get him back after selling him to us for five? Really?
Can’t say I’m familiar with themThat’s exactly how a buyback option normally works.
Man City have started doing it a lot. Chelsea too. Can’t say I’m familiar with them
Who has done it in the past?
I don’t like it
