To be fair, thay have a right go at Slats when he's **** too.

Bristol City walked through our midfield with ease for their goal (that's becoming a regular occurrence). Pressing more is great but it's badly exposing Seri & Slater's lack of mobility. I wouldn't be surprised to see 2 defensive midfielders come in by Friday. For all the talk about depth, we don't really have any there and Simons clearly isn't fancied just yet or he'd be playing. If we're to have a proper push I don't think Seri or Slater would be starters.

Seri and Slater would be in a mix of 4 for the shirts.

That's what is being aimed for in this window.

We know that Seri isn't getting any younger and a succession plan needs to be in place, but ****s sake. If he doesn't play well te we don't play well, that's how reliant we are on him at the moment, and he's been in 5he conversation for MOM most games this season, and last.

For their goal they didn’t walk through our midfield,
If memory serves me we ****ed around on the right wing, ball was sent over to the left, crossed and that little **** tucked it away….think it was coyle who lost the ball trying a 1 yard pass while surrounded. Mind you I threw a beer can at the telly so my memory may be a little fuzzy….

Seri's the best technician (along with Geo) I've seen in a City shirt, and he's levels above a Huddlestone. Some of the chances he creates are sublime, but he gets too complacent and gives the ball away far more than he should.

Defensively you can walk through him but that's why he's playing for us and not in the PL.

Realistically we aren't going to sign a big, battling DM because we can't afford one that's not technically limited and that would create as many problems as it solves. So I can see why we wanted Max Bird as he offers a bit of both.

We're still a squad in transition so it'll take time but we're moving in the right direction

Not sure I like the sound that!!!?

It's understood the finer details of Villa's time-sensitive buy-back clause between the 21-year-old and the Premier League club are being ironed out before final confirmation is given on a deal worth in the region of £5m, with the youngster penning a long-term contract.

Not sure I like this but back clause. What if he has a stormer if a season and other clubs want him. Surely his employment rights give him the right to work where he wants?

Seri is good, no question, but needs the 'right' players around him which we haven't got. But to say he's "levels above Huddlestone" is just plain ridiculous.

What are you concerned with?

We're basically getting him on loan where they buy him back for more than we paid if he's good. If he's **** we're stuck with him.
