Considering we have 2 in form strikers at the club already with a 3rd in reserve I’m not surprisedHasn't agreed personal terms and is considering his options with other clubs.

One of those strikers I doubt Davis would ever be in contention with and Oscar is probably on his way out if Davis comes in
Yes it sounds like the other lad is more what we really need, if he's as good as everyone says, so hopefully we'll get himRather keep Oscar he should be given the chance with the new players he would probably get alot of service, and does not matter that some think he is not good enough or suited to LR's style but plenty of others will have to get used to it and he did score 13 in the games he played alot less games than Davis did.

I think the key is, goals aside, Davis wont give a CB a minutes peace.. make more space for Delap... and the ball seems to strike with him... having said, I like Oscar a lot as a player...Oscar played in 35 games (scored in 9 of those)
Davis played in 34 games (scored in 7 of those)

Because he's not gonna make the squad once Davis signs

When on loan at Forest they wanted to buy him but Villa wanted £15 millionI know players look at other options but in this case i have the feeling maybe anything else better if it comes along he would take it, i know it rarely happens but it is nice to have players who want to be at the club or want to come here bit like Twine and Delap thought.

I dont think him and Delap will play together. They're the same kind of striker.

Did you try the curry sauce by any chance?Just an aside about Amsterdam. I once went to this fish restaurant in Amsterdam. It was run by a posh English guy called Gervais. I got chatting to him. He was from Surrey and a nice guy who spoke softly and was a bit limp wristed. Anyway, not being used to a posh fish restaurant. I asked what he recommended. He said go for the squid, done in a light oil and with a tartar sauce its lovely. I thought okay. Go for it. The deal was you picked the squid you wanted from a tank. I thought odd, but when in Rome etc....I went to the tank.. There was this green, hairy lip squid, going wild and mental. I told Gervais I'd have that one. But that's when the chef and chief plate washer, a hard looking German guy called Hans, rocked up and said. 'No chance. You can't have that one.'
I asked why? 'He's my favourite,' said Hans and made it clear I couldn't have that particular squid....... So the moral of the story was...wait for it. Hans that wash dishes, can be soft has Gervais with wild, green hairy lip squid.
I was given pelters on here for saying Oscar was not all that last season. His touch is awful, he always seems to be a yard short of where he is needed and many of his goals were bouncing off his shin from a few yards out.Really happy with Davis, I mentioned a few days ago that I'd love a target man to interchange with Delap. I thought we'd have to settle for somebody completely average and I never thought we'd be able to attract someone as good as Davis.
And the fee is a snip.
I'm also glad it's the end of Oscar, everyone likes to blow smoke up his arse but since last August/September he's been completely average. There's been a real clear difference between when Delap's been on the field and when Oscar's come on.
But he still scored 13 , and avaraged 11 passes a game not saying he is better but like i said i like to see players who want to be at the club instead of " maybe we will see what better comes along before i pick you players" if he has options or is waiting for better options leave it move on it's Philogene we would like most anyway, yes Keinan you are our 2nd choice we hope to get our first option from your club.
