Not played since April 2023 and currently injured. Sounds like he fits our system.

Whiteman had surgery a few months ago. However, he still hasn’t signed a new contract and there were rumours his agent has been putting him in the shop window for a move.
He's actually been injured since April, not just out of the squad, so he's been injured 4-5 months. In that time we had the summer break so he only has missed 12 matches. Would have been more if a different time of season.
Doesn't sound like someone we'd look at although he is in his last 12 months of his contract.
Now it looks like we have some money to invest, not sure how far behind the villa pair that stretches, but I’d much rather the money go towards him
Villa supposedly have had difficulty shifting him after his watford loan. They had that £15m buy clause on if Watford got promoted but since then no ones come in. My hunch is we went in for Philogene and they dropped Davis' name as a double deal to get his wages off their books. Could be wrong but they're in a bit of a transition phase at Villa with Emery so they can compete in Europe
Luton were interested in him, and there is 1 or 2 other championship clubs it seems but only reason i can see Acun or the club saying anything is if it is done.
If something good happened and we did get promoted and i know it's a big if with some of the other clubs in this league, i hope Acun tries to bring in Delap and Twine in on perm deals it would be nice to keep some of the young highly rated talent.
Rather spend the promotion money on keeping these players than spending millions elsewhere.

I always thought when it came to pointing out that someone should make a tackle he had no intention of making himself, Markus Henriksen was without equal. Like Kevin Kilbane, he did it at national level too.
You know it’s heating up at City when I’m actually slightly annoyed to be going to Greece on Friday as I’m missing the game… hope ifollow works abroad

You can get the games in Greece. But it's not ifollow now, it's the club's own version, and best to have a vpn and set it to Luxembourg or another country that doesn't buy in foreign matches for TV. If you do all that, it works fine.
