I’d agree. In this funky 442 we’re playing he’d have to play off Delap, which is also Traores and Tufans best position. Liam will have some big decisions to make soon

Which makes it even stranger, right? From what we've seen both Tufan and Traore are both capable of playing that role. Presumably Twine won't be coming to warm the bench, so are we back to square pegs in round holes?

I could see us trying to offload him. I don't know where he naturally fits in the system LR's trying to play.

If true, it would also suggest Acun has faith in LR given that would be the 2nd of last year's recruits from Turkey to be allowed to leave.
I’m beginning to think no player fits into his style of play

20 goals and 13 assist in league 1 for Mk Dons. He leaves (and Darling) and they go from play offs to relegated. Very technical player, with a cracking free kick. Championship obviously a step up, but Burnley fans said he did well in limited minutes last season.
I don't know enough about him to be getting as excited as some on here, guess TWT. Didn't Magennis get 18 goals in League 1? (similar stats)

Wasn't Magennis a striker playing for the side that came first? Twine is a young midfielder. Slightly different roles.

Not convinced they would. Some seem keen to find any reason to hate Rosenior.

Being critical of recent performances doesn't equate to a hatred of the manager, nor a desire for the team to lose. At least not for me. In fact I'd suggest it's quite the opposite, many of the frustrations vented on here come from a desire to see their team do well.

Not for you but for some it absolutely does.

I know I have been banging the drum about Twine joining all summer but pleased that he is finally coming!

Is he one of the two we are definitely supposed to be bringing in that play in the final third? Anyone got any ideas who the other one is? The Winger from Palace?
I wouldn't be surprised to see Tufan go before the transfer window. There are clearly doubts about Traore's ability to play 40 games or so this season.

Sounds to me like

I am more than happy to eat humble pie and say I was wrong if City turn it round. The bloke himself is spot on just the blagging and management style I have issue with. Humility is never something to shy away from.

Though he's mainly played as a No.10, he's also regularly played left wing and even as a striker, so he gives us lots of options.
