Apparently both operate in the top half of the pitch so no idea what the brick is about but then again could just be the height of the costume not the person in.

The transfer window has been poor and I think Rosenior and the club in general are doing damage control to try to prevent fans from becoming even more restless because they haven’t got their top transfer targets. We’ve missed out on every keeper we’ve been credibly linked with, I don’t think Connolly was a first-choice signing and neither was Lokilo. Vinagre might’ve been as that’s what Rosenior has explicitly said but in all honesty, I think there were safer and more reliable options at left-back.

We’re approaching game week 2 and the squad still looks a DM, a couple of wingers and another keeper short. It’s not just adding a few bits and pieces; a large part of the spine of the team is still missing.

Do you honestly believe that? Apparently we'd identified our targets months ago and was going to do our business with those players early.... Obviously I can't say for definite, but from what I'm hearing/have been hearing on who are targets are or where, then these that are coming in are definitely not our first choice targets.

And if they are and we are happy to leave it this late, it's a very very risky gamble. What happens if it falls through? What's happens if we are outbid or the player choses elsewhere?

I'm just not buying it based on the info I have .... I could very well be totally wrong though
not scott twine incoming then @Howdentiger2

Yet were told we are still expecting incomings in all of those areas.

If they come in and are **** then fair enough, but at least you are in agreement with the club in relation to areas that still need strengthening.

"I am telling you now, there is going to be some exciting news coming in the next few days, I can say that with a lot of certainty now, which is why I'm smiling," a gleeful Rosenior told Hull Live.

"And it's going to change the whole energy and mood of this club, so I want the fans to turn up on Saturday, get behind the team, get behind me and we'll give everything we can to make it a positive start to the season."
I know it's been put forward before, but could one of them be KLP?

-> We’ve missed out on every keeper we’ve been credibly linked with,
Agree. It looks that way.
-> I don’t think Connolly was a first-choice signing
Maybe not for Tan & Darnborough, but I bet he was in a 'first choice' in Rosenior's mind.
-> and neither was Lokilo.
Definitely agree. A wild card option that became available. Looks distinctly average to me so far, and no better than what we have within the club, but maybe that's a tad unfair to form an opinion so soon. Hopefully turns out to be an inspired gamble, twt.

100% agree. And missing leadership. Rosenior for some reason doesn't appear to agree. What do we know.

Can anyone shed any light? Not sure if he’s calling out Acun and Tan

Think he’s calling out two other notable Turkish football journalists on Twitter called Haluk Yürekli and Gökhan Dinç. From what I can gather, they were spreading rumours in some WhatsApp group about him maybe joining us. I don’t know. That’s all I can gather from context.
