With this I wonder if a keeper we could go after is Muric from Burnley. Didn't play in preseason for them and they signed 2 keepers

"I am telling you now, there is going to be some exciting news coming in the next few days, I can say that with a lot of certainty now, which is why I'm smiling," a gleeful Rosenior told Hull Live.

"And it's going to change the whole energy and mood of this club, so I want the fans to turn up on Saturday, get behind the team, get behind me and we'll give everything we can to make it a positive start to the season."
New manager and coaching staff? ;)

A smiling gleeful LR??? Is Rosie entering into a quasi-delusional desperation mode? A couple of weeks back he was confident that the squad he had was all that was needed and with the wonderful pre-season they were primed to start roaring from the get go.

So not individuals they've been targeting since may then?

Do you honestly believe that? Apparently we'd identified our targets months ago and was going to do our business with those players early.... Obviously I can't say for definite, but from what I'm hearing/have been hearing on who are targets are or where, then these that are coming in are definitely not our first choice targets.

And if they are and we are happy to leave it this late, it's a very very risky gamble. What happens if it falls through? What's happens if we are outbid or the player choses elsewhere?

I'm just not buying it based on the info I have .... I could very well be totally wrong though

With regards to having an option for Ingram to pass too there was not many although on occassion I thought that the

Shows you what you have pay for a good keeper. Does not look like it but hope one of the signings LR is talking about is a goalie that can play out from the back. If we are going to try to play like Man City or Brighton then as was obvious from the game against Donny Matt Ingram is not going to do it even though he is a great shot stopper. As an aside I wonder what Matt thinks about it all; anyone know him who knows what his thinking is-would he rather just boot it out all the time or is he on board with playing out from the back. Also anyone know how much time do they spend training on stuff like this. Surely its high on the agenda and is not a difficult practice to set up. And as many of you know practice makes perfect, and as we know the difference between a high school music teacher and a concert painist is 5000 hours of practice!

Why did Burnley wait so long for sander berge? Why do most transfers go through towards the back of the window?

Depends who comes in as to whether I believe it or not, but suspect we have always had targets based on different scenarios I. E. If Greaves and Oscar got sold as was allegedly a dead cert a couple of months ago.
