There are different ways of structuring loans, as the Connolly deal is a case in point. I assume we've taken over the last year of his contract to avoid using a loan place, given he's on a free at the end of the year and Brighton want rid.
Cannon is more of a development loan, preston won't be covering all his wages, hence the loan fee

Looks like they’ll go straight through this season, League Two isn’t exceptionally strong this year.
Mates a pass holder at Deepdale and he reckons they're skint. It's why they didn't get Delap back. Reckon it's most likely any loan fee is their contribution to his wages.
If we are adding to the youth team then we should look at Pontus Dahbo from FC Hacken. Only 17, and before someone says something about Football Manager, I saw him vs TNS the other week.

We’re obviously not going to sign eight loan players, so it’s irrelevant.
