Delap seems a similar player anyway so if we can get a decent fee for him then move him on. Hopefully that money means we can get one or two quality players through the door

The only reason go get rid of Oscar would be if silly money was involved.
Bring in two decent wingers to get the ball in the box and he will tap them in all day long.

Oscar has come back looking a lot fitter and I've been impressed with some of his link up in games so far. A few weeks ago I would've said take the money, but I'd be disappointed if he left now.

If we could shift the likes of Tetteh, Sinik, Woods and Longman (probably on loan though) we might not have to cash-in on Óscar and/or Greaves.

With Tetteh going, might be interesting to see if we go back in for Haji Wright again and offer Antalyaspor Sinik + cash for him.

Harsh. I could listen to him all day after having years of Grant/Shota
He’s a waffler. Served up some of the most boring football I’ve watched in my time and then everyone is convinced it was good based on what he says afterwards.

Nothing on that particular interview individually just doesn’t come across well to me. Very amateur to me still.

As much as I agree on LR we also have to accept that Hull City and Hull in general is not attractive at all to many players. Who on earth would want to move to this City if you have offers in the North West and can live in Manchester or in the North East and you can live in Newcastle? At risk of going off on a tangent Hull has been ruined over a period of time by greedy councillors and the City Centre is an embarrassment.

As locals we make do and make the best of it. I still drink in one or two bars to see my mates. The wife and I will eat on Humber street now and again. I take the kids in town for clothes and bits they need. Would I move here if I wasnt deep rooted? Would I f***. And this is said with a heavy heart because I love my City and its history but I cannot imagine many players looking at Hull and thinking 'Cant wait for a night in Propoganda'.
To be fair Jim,most major cities have similar problems and like minded greedy councillors...

Steve Bruce didn't have any issues bringing talent in during his spell and let's face it,any new faces we do manage to attract won't be coming in with the proviso they live in a house of multiple occupancy on Springbank.

I suspect It may well be the case that Rosenior just doesn't have the contacts or pull that Bruce did?
