Players like Seri wouldn't have come to City if it wasn't for Acun getting personally involved.

LR is still a fairly inexperienced manager and his poor judgement over Malcolm shows that the player investment decisions shouldn't be left entirely to him.

If you needed it spelt out I was clearly suggesting Acun should appoint a Football Director.

If Tan is not the Football Director then we should perhaps appoint one, as not having one would explain why our recruitment has been so haphazard. On the other hand, I suspect Tan has two hats on, given his role as a player agent and his links in the game. Acun is a media mogul, not a football expert, so if we're in a position where we need him identifying targets then we're in a bad place.

Chelsea had Boehly negotiating deals last summer too, that's gone swimmingly for them.

Actually I see nothing wrong with the players that Boehly has brought in at Chelsea.
I put Chelseas poor performances last season solely on Potter and Lampard.

Ok how is this haphazard considering most are still here except loans that went back but perhaps never worked out,although they did come with reputations.

Most are still here and hopefully look to have settled and progressing at the club.
