Really don't understand the insinuation that Kesler/City would know a player was an injury waiting to happen, but not care and be happy to sign him, as long as they can convince us fans it isn't the case.
You know the club are on our side right?
tbf, in retrospect, basically same point but better put than my reply.

I just wonder whether Liam might look at a 352 occasionally if the opponent's suit.

Jones/Macca/Greaves
Christie/Seri/Slater/Traore/Vinagre
Oscar/Tetteh

Only problem no room for Tufan
Must say I've looked at our squad a few times and thought it really lends itself to 3-5-2, especially as I feel we lack a winger who merits a place in the first Xl and if we sign Connolly we have plenty of options to play 2 up front. But I don't get the sense Rosie wants to play that formation.

With Vinagre and Christie's attacking attributes I agree.

With respect, I don't think Man City have loaned out Liam Delap so he can get splinters in his arris. No matter what formation.

I was just floating the idea of 352 not so much the personnel involved. However, Rossy has always said no one s guaranteed a start, and I would be surprised if Delap is a regular starter at least at the start of the season.

Acun in the hdm today says sinik is going to be like a new signing

Having an owner talking up players and their role in the squad doesn't sit brilliantly with me. If LR wanted to sell/loan him in a few weeks because he's not looking up to it I wonder how that would go down.

Sinik looked no better than Longman. Plus on the left, he was easy to play against as defenders knew he was going to come back inside before crossing because he's **** with his left foot.
I really think Longman will come good plus he’s miles cheaper to have on the books than Sinik so I’d be moving Sinik on.

If Sinik stays and can actually play a part this season, we’ve got Sinik, Allahyar, Longman and Vaughan as wingers. We’d probably only need one more, ideally a left-footer.

I’ve been really impressed with Vaughan. I don’t know if anyone else noticed against Galatasaray but his first touch was brilliant, almost Fodenesque. Think he’ll be an important player this season. If he can bulk up a bit and provide goals and assists on a consistent basis, he has the potential to be as good as KLP if not better. Rosenior’s an inexperienced manager and will make mistakes from time to time but putting Vaughan straight into the first team has been one of his best judgement calls and cancels out Ebiowei imo.

If we play 3 at the back it makes the need to sign an experienced CB (maybe even 2) even more of a priority. I'd rather us concentrate on signing the wingers that can fit into a system Rosie has already been working on.
