Just makes no sense, Delap was supposedly his first choice signing because he runs in behind etc etc. Now we are signing ANOTHER STRIKER when we need wide players.
If Connolly coming in means Oscar leaving then I will be mightily pissed off.
We would be mental to force Oscar out; hopefully it's all b.s. about him possibly going.
If we keep Oscar, then with Delap, Tetteh, Connolly we at last start to have what looks like a forward line that could help us challenge at the top end of the table.

What the club is trying to do this season, is getting the right tools they want cover for any injuries players away on international duties, and the type of players they are trying to do deals for are good it's not as if they are poor quality this season,they are still trying for players that looked as they would come but never they are still trying to get them the way things are going we hopefully get the players they are after we can seriously look at a good season injuries won't stop the team as the cover they want can play in a few positions and are comfortable with it.

Unlikely he stays I would say. Can get good money for him that can be spent on CM and LW/RW and still have Delap, Connolly & Tetteh for front positions.
There was offer and clubs have to tell players if they have been enquired about, but after Oscars showing the other night and showing he is capable of performances like that with the service i would imagine the club want him to stay also , what's the point of letting Oscar go and trying to replace him with someone who may or may not settle or perform.
And when Tetteh and Connolly are out injured and we're down to relying on Delap..?

Selling Óscar and replacing him with another marquee striker would be fair enough but selling him and replacing him with someone like Jonson Clarke-Harris or Connolly being his replacement would be abysmal.
