Yes, it's cheapening out to go from Darlow to Peacock-Farrell and if we sign him, it's the epitome of cheapening out. There are keepers in between those two who would be good for us and not cost the earth.

For current our position, they're both sensible deals. Delap had 2 tough spells on loan last year and is definitely a work in progress and Vinagre has gone a little stagnant, if you listen to HFFP, he's complete ****. I'm not sure he was our first choice LB either.

No, I've said we need to make more signings than is being said to try and rectify some of the errors made last summer. As has been said, we've got a top 8 wage bill, but not a top 8 squad.
Would you not have taken Balogun after his poor spell at Boro?

He’s a top prospect, playing for 2 bang average championship sides isn’t going to change that.

Don't listen to HFFP it's his opinion if LR listens to his scouts then i am sure he has more upto date info to make a decision, but you said we would not go near those 2 players but i think LR would they are not exactly **** are they or they would not have been or are at the clubs they are.

If we had money, we wouldn't have. Delap was one of the most in-demand loanees last season at our level and this year the hype's gone. I think he's a nice addition that offers us something different but let's not pretend, if we had a few million to chuck around, we'd sign someone a little less raw

I would because I'm pretty realistic about who we can sign and he would have offered something different. I'd take a Sonny Bradley happily, and any left-back who's a little better than Elder.

I know people won't like it, but I think the majority of our business will be done the back end of the window. I'll be more then happy to be wrong though

I'm getting that feeling too but it's not surprising as transfer fees drop and agents become a little more realistic

The hype hasn’t gone. He was still very in demand. He’s 20 years old ffs, if he shows the same this season the hype will go but that was his first senior season. He could’ve easily dropped a level and pissed it but he didn’t and I think we’ll reap the benefits of it

How can you say the hypes gone we are very lucky to be able to bring him here even if it is a loan, he is very highly rated and has a big future just because he never shone on loan last year does not mean he won't this season, but thats ok because you would take another player who had a piss poor season last year.

The hype has gone compared to last year. He had half the championship after him. I'm not saying he's a bad signing and I'm sure his experiences last season will benefit him.

I've always liked Jebbison when I've seen him and he's one we could have got him permanently last year for a semi-reasonable fee

He also had alot of teams after him this season including from abroad, maybe they miss what you see or know.

For what it is worth, If my memory serves me correctly Delap was ahead of Jebbison in the England younger team setup, though he is a year older. Both are good players IMO, so either would be okay.

You're just stupidly unrealistic. And it's as clear as day that we're working on a tight budget from the players we've been linked too.

I'm sure Rosie would love to be able to sign Cashin but when we're being linked to Peacock-Farrell and Sonny Bradley, it's obvious that money's tight.

If we had money, we wouldn't be signing a left back who's got a dodgy Achilles and you wouldn't go near Delap either.

We're having to be somewhat creative and sensible and it seems like we're flogging Greaves and Oscar to fund purchases.

Whatever we do have to spend is going on attackers as Baz has been briefing. After splurging last year, we're skint in comparison.

If you read my posts properly, I said Cashin would be an ideal replacement if and only if we sold Greaves for a decent amount. If we’re not selling Greaves, there’s no reason to buy him.
