Translation = Beşiktaş has signed with Ozan Tufan. Management continues to negotiate with Hull City. (A Sport)

Pretty sure City have just posted a picture of him beaming in his City kit, wouldn't have thought they'd do that if he was on his way.

It was yesterday and he was wearing a white t-shirt, but still beaming.

Name of the game for the majority of Champ clubs is to develop talent and reinvest to move forward. Yeah KLPs direct positional replacement was Sinik but the revenue was used elsewhere also, and we did finish the season in top 10 form (if the league started when Rosy did) so although the first managerial appointment was poor, I'm not buying into the idea that player recruitment has been at all disastrous as is the narrative some seem to be pushing.

We signed about 20 players, some left having never played a single minute, others left after having made a bare handful of appearances. Some cost/are costing an absolute fortune and have offered very little.

It was a disaster. We wasted a hell of a lot of money.

Shota was well liked as a person, but he had zero respect as a gaffer. The money is decent for greaves and it's a step forward for him in his career. He's not pushed for the move at all. But it's the best move for all involved
Best move for all involved???

Sinik is back. Time will tell if he stays but it's more to do with how Sinik settled and his dynamic with Tufan than footballing reasons if rumours are to be be believed.

We took punts on Salah, Vale and Pelkas - all are loans, 2 went back in Jan and our liability on Pelkas was limited to a year.

Were apparently running a top 10 wage bill (direct QUOTE from Tan today says 'top 8 exuding relegated clubs') and I reiterate that had the league started when Rosey came in we'd have finished 10th - which is par under the current coach.

This suggests that players not having a clue what Shota wanted has been more of an issue than recruitment.
