Alan Nixon, a decent journalist source on Twitter, says we are interested in signing Sonny Bradley who is available on a free after leaving Luton, also Derby are competing for him as well.

Hasn't had a lot of game time at Luton this season, played 19 games, finished the season starting at centre back but then Amarli Bell returned to fitness and Bradley was dropped for the play-offs. 31 years old, bags of experience, decent tats, could fit in with Rosey's plans.

It would be an odd one, he's brave but not technically gifted, a bit like replacing Figueiredo with Figueiredo.

He’s also a left-footer. Rosenior says he wants two for every position so you would’ve thought if we got rid of Figueiredo, he’d want another right-footer to challenge Alfie Jones.

Or if Greaves were to depart for pastures new, then Maka and Bradley competing for the left sided centre half berth?

We're going round in circles with this. Rosenior explained in full that Allahyar had shown through all of his load levels and metrics that he was 100% fit and ready. You could always leave him one more game but then if he gets injured whenever he does play again people will still say it was too early. If he was mysteriously still missing weeks after being perfectly fit people wouldn't be happy with that either. At some point players have to come back and there is always a risk they'll get injured again. In Tetteh's case it was about 2 months after he'd first returned from his previous one.

Agree we're going on circles but as a last point I'm not talking about him coming back too soon, I'm talking about playing him twice in three days. Anyway, we'll see what happens in the off season.

I don't disagree either.

He started a fair few games, and was also used as a savvy sub to help see out games. Extremely experienced striker who knows the league well.

Where did sheff utd finish?

Reckon they'd have finished there without him. That's like saying that Rotherham should recruit Tyler Smith because we finished 15th.

A promoted team heavily utilised him achieve there aim. We could utilise him to achieve our aim (sneak into the top 6). Its a squad game.

And smiths ****e. I don't see your argument.

You really do go down some stupid avenues with arguments.

He would improve our current squad, both in ability and experience he could add.

I don't think they heavily utilised him, that's my point. He would not improve our squad.

They did. He started a fair few games (maybe even captained them). And also brought on for the last 20/15 to see out games, the latter is still classed as heavily utilised. Whilst I know you may struggle with that, it's tactical and using intelligent players to stifle teams. I.e. heavily utilised.

That's nice. Don't struggle with anything. He scored 2 goals. He's an emotional inclusion in their squad like Windass was for us in our first PL season. He's not going to offer anything of merit to a side chasing promotion next season and I'd be staggered if he didn't drop a division or retire.

Aaaaaand full circle we have come! I am sure Sheff Utd value his contribution more than just goals. You simply don't get it (football that is).

As I said, argument going in stupid directions.

Ah ok I don't get it. We'll see who he signs for.

EDIT: Looks like the suggestion is he'll take a player-coach role at Sheff Utd. Knock me down with a feather.

Completely missing the point. If he signs for someone else, you don't become correct.

Ad hominem because you have nothing else, what a bore. If he doesn't sign for a promotion chasing side then it absolutely proves my point that he's not rated as able to contribute to a promotion chasing side. Pretty simple.

If he's essentially taking a coaching role at Sheff Utd I suspect it's because he knows the writing's on the wall. Sheff Utd newspapers think he had an average season on the pitch.
