So we are onto…

- Philogene (Acun waiting for Fri announcement)
- A foreign wide man instead of Rak-Sakyi
- A relatively expensive home grown player who can play upfront, wide or attacking midfield (not a target man)
- A DM from abroad
- George Cox

Sound about right?

But you make it sound so meh.
Oh wait.

You saying we were on the pull all night only for us to decide at 5 to 2, to go for Cox :emoticon-0112-wonde

I think we’ve been interested in Cox and he’s been here for awhile but we’re only just coming round to admitting it. Apparently he’s been avoiding detection and getting in to the training ground via the back entrance.

Maybe that bloke at the training ground has had enough fishing his way through there bush!

Vinagre hasn't done much to convince me that he's durable.

Certainly got the ability, but the fact we're back to Greaves at LB already tells me Cox would certainly help us and probably get game time.

I rate Greaves at LB when he takes it forwards, but recently at LB he's been staying back whilst still letting cross after cross come flying in.

He picked up a knock but has pretty much been available every game since. It just coincded with us winning 2 games on the bounce and Liam sticking with the same team.

Rosenior has also probably noticed we are very susceptible on the counter and having a defensive minded player in Greaves helps paper over those cracks. Hopefully this foreign DM will allow us to play Vinagre with less risk.

Guess we'll see if he's in against Leicester and Greaves replaces McLoughlin. It's this susceptibility to knocks though that meant Vinagre didn't play a whole lot of football at his last few clubs.

With Leicester signing quick, skilful wingers - I’d say Vinagre would be better suited there on Saturday.

The Greaves solution is also based on the fact we are also susceptible to set pieces. Particualry as half our outfield players - Seri, Slater, Twine, Tufan and Traore don’t offer
much in the air.
