Me too. Although, I did track down my old South Hunsley school mate about 12 years ago who I hadn’t seen for about 20 years and funnily enough we’re away this weekend with our wives in the Lakes.I must be an anti social bastard then!
Wow, PLT was correct then.Me too. Although, I did track down my old South Hunsley school mate about 12 years ago who I hadn’t seen for about 20 years and funnily enough we’re away this weekend with our wives in the Lakes.
It was arranged before the fixtures came out and I’m gutted not to be watching us play at Ewood Park again tomorrow.
I was at Hunsley from 75-77 having been at Howden from 72-75.
A mate of mine who’s a big Leicester fan and goes on all the forums reckons Rak-Sakyi to them is done/all agreed and just waiting on Palace to actually release him. Apparently that Nicko chap on twitter tweeted that the other day, if anyone is on twitter and able to see that (I’m not).
They also think Akgun is close/almost done but that’s all based on random Turkey tweets and we all know just how reliable those are.
That's a big step up for Rak-Sakyi, L1 to the championship favourites. I've never thought we'd get him but I thought Palace would send him where he'd be guaranteed the most minutes amongst other things and Leicester certainly ain't that.
They’re pretty lacklustre in wide areas. He’ll be competing with AlbrightonThat's a big step up for Rak-Sakyi, L1 to the championship favourites. You must have been in the year below me. My Dad had the bright idea of moving house and school at 15 and was then surprised that I didn’t get all of the o levels that I wanted. I rebelled and left school at 16. It took me a long time to recover from that decision!Wow, PLT was correct then.
I started at Hunsley aged 11 in 1973 until 1980.
It was back in the day I would be the only one with the City top on in PE and there’d be half a dozen on the 153 (?) to and from Boothferry Park on match days?

My Dad worked for Kennett Insurance Brokers in Anlaby, who did most of the Club and player insurance/mortgages etc., so we got freebie tickets at the time. Not the best time for being a City fan in the late 70’s but improved massively in the early 80’s.
