It's a really nice selling point when you're trying to bring in a Vaughan Covil or a Harry Vaughan too that if they don't make the instant jump to the first team then they can go and live in Dublin for a year or two and play regularly. It removes the worry of being left to stagnate in the 23s as too many of our youngsters have done

I know it's all about opinions, but that is a staggeringly stupid opinion.
Not from where I was sitting, he is awful at it. He tapped a few in and also scored some decent goals but hold up play is not for him, he does not have it.
He’s had some games where he’s been brilliant leading the line though. He definitely has it in him IMO just not consistent. Full pre season to be sharper and fitter with hopefully some better wide players to help it not become an issue

When you look at strikers we've had in the past few seasons, I think it's obvious he's far better than Magennis, Eaves or Smith, it's not even close. I think he *can* hold the ball up, I just don't think that's the best way to use him. He's very good at playing others in when the team is transitioning forward, as opposed to getting the ball and then standing with it to wait for support (which we've had to do multiple times because we lacked pace out wide or other striker options). Tetteh is much better at this, playing the two of them together, for me anyway, sees us play better as a team, but because of injuries we didn't get to see enough of that.
