Maybe he's not quite the player you build a PL winning midfield around, but he's a good player alright.
If he wasn't playing for Liverpool, I could see Utd signing him, but not many have dared cross the Styx to do that!
 
Never thought about an appearance clause for Geertruida stopping us playing him more - don’t want to fork out £20 million? Makes sense as he was excellent v the mags and you’d have expected more game time to follow

Agree,that deal's a pity......however it goes on all over these transfer deals. It's a little sad,if we have a player who can contribute in matches,but we don't want to play him for appearance reasons. Sad for us,sad for him....hopefully we don't enter into too many of these loan contracts. I'm not a fan of the loan system so I was happy during our season that he was,I think, the only incoming loan.

Aye its a bit messy but if he wants to be elsewhere and we have to splash out we have to play the long game. He’s done his bit though notably the result of the season and bragging rights. I think it’s left side we need to invest that 20 in now if Mukiele stays.

I'd expect Nordi to stay....he has a contract for another 3 years,and he must be getting PL money,in addition he's a great friend of Granit.
I do expect a lot of outgoings this summer mind,but not many from the first choice players.

If the appearance clause about Geetruida is right, and if so, it's clear he or we have said he's not signing permanently, why are we even putting him in the bench?
