Not being picked for France doesn’t make a player in any way poor.

There’s heaps of superb French midfielders not near the squad, including possibly our current best player, Enzo.

France have and always have phenomenal talent.

It’s a bit of a long shot but I’d be surprised if we didn’t ask. Could be dependent on a big departure from midfield but equally could compete aggressively with Xhaka and Sadiki.

It’s starting to seem potentially more realistic when you look at the facts, but still feels a long shot.

Would we be making a signing of that profile and cost without a significant outgoing?

Deschamps has been brilliant for France but I was staggered to read that he has Gusto in that squad. I don’t think I’ve seen him have a good game and they have got a lot of options across all the positions.

Italian teams are broke, especially ones who didn't get champions league.

This could move quick, either to us of Forest.

Roma need to recoup €60mill by end of June, wouldn't be surprised if we raided them. Possibly Soule

If Gusto played for us and Mukiele Chelsea it would have been the other way round
 
This transfer window will be a level up in quality, we now have europa league football and we only need 4-5 quality players rather than quantity. Stuff like this is beginning to feel realistic tbh. Ghisolfi has very good connections too for us to go for players like this
