So, does anybody think we will actually sign anyone with 27 hours to go until the window closes?
Personally I still remain hopeful but it is probably blind optimism on my part possibly!

I thought that once we'd sold a few we'd be able to sign a couple of people... blind optimism remains but time is running out in the real world.

Just read Bilal could be off to Stuttgart now for £30m.

Leicester City have completed the signing of forward Julian Carranza on a season-long loan from Feyenoord.

The 25-year-old scored four goals in the Eredvisie for Feyenoord last season after joining from MLS side Philidelphia Union.

He was also on target for the Dutch side in the second leg of their Champions League knockout win over AC Milan.

An agreement has been reached between Leicester City and German side VfB Stuttgart for the loan of midfielder Bilal El Khannouss until the end of the 2025/26 season, subject to international clearance.
  • Bilal El Khannouss heads to the Bundesliga
  • The 21-year-old will spend 2025/26 with VfB Stuttgart
The 21-year-old attacking midfielder moves to the Bundesliga having played 39 times for us in all competitions since arriving from Genk in August 2024.
Next up for VfB Stuttgart is an away clash against SC Freiburg on Saturday 13 September.

Aaron Ramsey has also signed on loan from Burnley ...

Happy enough with all 3 incomings ... just a bit of a pity we couldn't ship Faes, de Cordova-Reid, Winks and Kristiansen... oh well :)

I think that is a very good day for us. All arrivals should strengthen the first team or at the very least offer solid competition. Bilel leaving was no surprise but the way it has been packaged is also clever. Some money up front for the loan and then a good amount guaranteed next season. As mentioned by Fosse would have liked some more of the deadwood to have departed but there is always January.

Even know we have not signed anyone on a permanent transfer {except a 38 yr old goalkeeper} I think we have done some very good loan deals! considering what we did last year, not to give us us a a cat in hells chance of staying in the Prem! when you see how much Leeds, Burnley and Sunderland have spent it will be interesting to see what happens to them if they don't stay up!

Just saw this link about Arsène Kouassi being chased by Foxes.

Honestly, I think that’s a really exciting name to come up in transfer talk. He looks like a young player with real potential — strong, mobile, and someone who could develop into a solid first‑team option rather than just another squad body.

Would be great to see Leicester actually push for a player like this — someone we can nurture and build around in the coming seasons.

Is he league 1 ready?

Rumoured that Derby are in for Mavididi - would sell at the right price - done well for us, but Championship is his level and we shouldn't have him blocking the development of younger players with more potential...
