Daniel Sturridge injures himself getting out of bed. But if Brendan wants him and the contract is sensible I would have him

We are set to sign 19yo CB Jamie Fielding from Hasting United - the last signing from a non league side was half decent.

Arsenal are rumoured to be willing to drop stupid money on us for Maddison - will have to be really stupid to get us to not reject it out of hand.
Josh Gordon wasnt that good

Very true but also risky with his injury record, he could spend a massive amount of time on the treatment table, and we've no space there as it's currently occupied full time by James.
2 year deal and wages probably around £100k without a fee. Loan out Ihenacho and keep Slimani. On paper I like it.

Leicester City have taken three non-league teenagers on trial to help develop the team in the future. Guiseley midfielder Dylan Barkers, Hastings United defender Jamie Fielding and Hastings midfielder Adam Lovatt have all joined the club. (Leicester Mercury)

We are linked with Patrick Roberts again - the 22yo winger was very decent on loan at Celtic under Rodgers but is currently struggling to get into the Girona team.

Personally I wouldn’t want Sturridge or Roberts. Tielemans is clearly first priority, after that I’d go for Che Adams for forward, Bowen from Hull to play right wing cutting in. He’s scored over 20 goals from the wing for an average Hull side which is nothing to be sniffed at! If we were to go for another winger again of the younger, home grown ilk, James (not that one Ed!) from Swansea is attracting a lot of attention

Been confirmed Shinji Okazaki will be leaving in the summer

Brendan Rodgers is still considering offering Danny Simpson and Christian Fuchs new contracts

Simpson and Fuchs are perfect back up if they’re willing to stay for a year

I would also love Bowen as long as the fee doesn’t get silly

I’m sure James will step up to boss the midfield with N’didi if Tielemans wont stay...

We are actually linked with Jarrod Bowen - rumours are that Hull would accept £15m which is nothing nowadays https://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/...news/leicester-city-prepare-battle-15-2768814

We are linked with Baghdad Bounedjah again - is absolutely destroying the Qatar league which isn't saying much but Rodgers does like loaning players so might be worth a punt, although the last Algerian striker we had didn't really work out...

We are also linked with Italian CB Gian Ferrari again - I remember his name from a couple of seasons ago before we ended up with Maguire.

Exactly. If that’s what they want, do it NOW, not the summer. Same with Tielemans £40m. However, I’m sure it’s not actually as easy as that.
Things happen behind the scenes. The Maddison deal was done before we even bid to an extent

He told the club he wanted to come to be closer to his family

We are linked with 23yo Portuguese striker André Silva from Milan - just like Tielemans he was touted as the next big thing but didn't set the world alight following a big money move so is plausible.

We are also linked with 28yo Malian striker Moussa Marega from Porto - we apparently had scouts at the Liverpool game where he didn't impress though.

Where’s Silva linked? Can’t see that anywhere. Is it a reliable source?
