That you didn't notice is prime example how some players are held to different standards to others - yes Mahrez and Vardy won lots of awards but they relied on the likes of Drinkwater to do the work first to start the attacks and give them the ball in the right positions but he failed consistantly and they got the blame for it.
I'm aware he wasn't as good but just put that down to him not having Kante either side of him.

We are being linked with Mamadou Sakho - is a defender in the mold of Morgan but Liverpool want £30m for him.
Personally don't like the guy - Klopp got rid of him due to his attitude and I'm sure I read somewhere recently that is is their 4th top earner... with Milner being top!

Seems like we have made a bid of £450k for George Thomas to avoid a tribunal - will either be loaned out or sent to the reserves if he comes to us.

We are being linked with Ali Al Habsi - always rated him and would make a really good backup keeper imo.

Leicester City want to sign Sevilla midfielder Vicente Iborra and are willing to nearly double his wages to seal a deal.
The 29-year-old midfielder played against the Foxes in the Champions League last season and recruitment chiefs at the King Power felt the tall midfielder was perfectly built to succeed in the Premier League.
A fee of £12m is understood to be enough to convince the Andalucian club to sell the player they signed for Levante for less than a quarter of that.
Sunderland made efforts to sign the versatile Spaniard in January, after he spent much of the season being used in central midfield or as an auxiliary centre-forward.

Swansea lead Leicester and Newcastle in race for Coventry starlet
Iborra's height and barrel-chested physique make him an ideal target for aerial attacks and set pieces.
West Ham United are also understood to be interested in the three-time Europa League winner.
While Iborra could arrive in England this week, should Sevilla finalise a deal with the Foxes, Riyad Mahrez is expected to leave the club.
The Algerian winger is attracting the strongest interest from Arsenal but, contrary to reports overseas, there is no agreement over a transfer for the 2015/16 Premier League winner.

Not sure what they are saying about Iborra being versatile - is a DM and played like that against us.

Sunderland did have a bid of £7m accepted in Jan as well - we shouldn't pay more for a 29 year old.

Scored 8 goals apparently last season. extremely good return for a DM. can do a job up top too apparently

Apparently we have had a 20m bid rejected for Troy Deeney. Dear lord no. Please no

Last year he was my most wanted... not too sure now
Why? Would be a perfect fit for us as he is a really hard working and unselfish AM/striker.

One of our many problems last season was that we lacked leaders on the pitch - especially when things went downhill. Is good that we are close to signing Seville's captain and linked with Watford's captain imo.

Very happy with Iborra. Sounds like a model professional and influential player both on the pitch and in the dressing room according to reports from Sevilla players and fans. Think we will be lucky to have him.
We desperately need a bit more technical quality and intelligence in midfield which he will bring.

Apart from the fact that he gives us depth in the midfield area, looks like a ready made replacement for Was off the field. Deeney would fit the band of brothers ethos and add some goals as well. With Iborra Maguire and Deeney in the box it gives us threat from set pieces - something we have lacked for a number of years. I would have preferred Deeney here a year ago - but just like Mahrez - his value has probably decreased over the last 12 months. Unlike the absolute tosh being spouted on FoxesTalk, it looks as though it may pan out to be a very interesting summer.

The majority of posters on FoxesTalk are a joke. They would find something to complain about if we signed Messi ffs.

Agreed. I read the forum and don't post. I noticed a lot of negativity on there then on various FB pages like LCFC news etc it's completely different. We need squad strength as well as starting 11 so as long as the player in question is an improvement I'm happy

I'd like Deeney. Problem is his age and value. £20m? Hefty... but probably. But can't see room for him and Sigurdsson so it would probably be instead of. Everton look in pole position... but have spent a lot of money and look to be getting Rooney in.
